I also will write review on the Naruko apple seed eye serum and BB cream soon, which I use along with above products. Overall I am satisfied with the performance of the apple series range, this series brightened my skin tone and improve the appearance of dark spots became lightened. However did the dark spots did not diminish. As you know dark spots only can lighten not diminish completely, unless you go for laser. So this product quite effective. The only thing down side of this product I found is that it is not moisturizing enough if you have dry skin. So you need to use better moisturizer to compliment with this product. 

I will buy this product again especially the Serum and Night Gelly. Have you tried Naruko products?

Ingredients

This mask is to be applied night time only, the texture is lotion like white color, no need to rinse off. This lotion function to repair your skin at night while you are sleeping. This apple seed series formulated especially to combat dark spots and lines, suitable for all skin types. After using the apple seed series for few 5 months, my skin did brighten, and dark spots lightened, however did not diminish completely. Now still visible but did lighten much. 

What I like about this night mask:

• Natural ingredient based
• Nice pleasant scent of lavender
• Lighten dark spots

What I don't like about this night mask:

• None so far

Overall I really like the brightening effects of the apple series, the only thing is that this series not moisturizing enough for me, it regulate my skin from oily to normal, now my skin nee more moisture. Overall satisfied with the apple series product. If you have dry skin, you might need to compliment with other moisturizer to keep your skin have moisturized.

What I like about this serum:

The scent of this moisturizer is very pleasant, smell like lavender. The texture lotion like and white color, I use this after applying the lotion which I reviewed on my previous post. 

What I like about this moisturizer:

What I don't like about this moisturizer:

• Moisturizing enough for normal skin but not for dry skin

The scent of the lotion smell like lavender, the consistency of the lotion not too watery, not too thick, just nice but slightly sticky if you apply too much need to wait for it to dry up on your skin. This lotion act like toner, thus to apply after facial cleanser.

What I like about this lotion:

This product is suitable those who have skin concern of dark spots. The sheet mask is silky and thin

I used the mask for a few times and together with the other apple series products. The scent of the mask is very pleasant, smell like lavender, very soothing. After using the mask, my skin felt moisturized and plump. On the brightening function, I think it did brightened my dark spots slightly. The mask contain a lot of excess serum liquids which you can apply on your hands and lotion, don't waste it.

What I like about this mask:

• Natural ingredients, parabean free
• Affordable
• Lighten dark spots
• Moisturizing 
• Pleasant smell
• The sheet is silky and comfortable

What I don't like about this mask:

• The serum felt a bit sticky on skin
• Takes time to dry up the remaining serum on my skin
• I wish it can cover my eyes too

Overall this is a good mask, I rate this mask 4 over 5 stars.

Both content clear fluids which is not oily at all, have a very refreshing scent and easily absorb by skin. However the emulsion is not moisturizing enough for my skin so need to apply separate moisturizer. However I think this product is suitable for young skin like teenagers. 

What I like about this two products:

• Natural ingredients
• Non oily, refreshing and easily absorb by skin
• Refreshing scent
• Convenient pump

What I don't like about this two products:

• Emulsion not moisturizing enough

I recommend this product for teenagers and young adults. 

Yadah Brightening Ampoule Review

Yay! Here is another review from Yadah product (origin from Korea), it's called Yadah brightening ampoule. I am a fan of Yadah mainly due to their products based on natural ingredients, parabean free and affordable.

I have been using this product for one and a half month now. Description on the packing this product highly enriched with vitamins and other herb extracts to control pigmentation. keep face clear and bright, improve skin troubles. 

The packing in the bottle with pump which is hygienic, one pump is enough to cover my whole face, the scent is refreshing and nice, the clear  serum easily absorb into skin, not oily at all. It is important to use a brightening serum that control melanin production especially if you live in a hot weather environment. This is the main reason why I like this product, prevention is always better the cure. If you ask whether this product lighten dark spots, I would say usually if you aim to lighten dark spots, you need to use any given product at least 3 months to see the result, as usually skin renewal takes about 28 days per circle. Thus visible result usually need to wait longer especially dark spots. 

What I like about this product:

• Based on natural ingredients, parabean free
• Light, easily absorb by skin and non oily
• Control melanin production thus prevent dark spots

What I don't like about this product:

• None at the moment

Best Beauty Goodies 2013

Happy new year 2014! This is my very first post in 2014 and this post will rundown 2013 best beauty products. These are the best my most loved products of the last 12 months in random order.

1. O'slee Clear Spa Sleeping Mask 

Best hydrating mask, but I didn't use as sleeping mask due to  mask sticking on my pillow, just rub on thick layer on skin for few hours while resting at home will hydrate skin really well. Affordable RM50.90 for 50ml and gel base, awesome!

2. Avene Cleanance Soapless Gel Cleanser 

Best soapless cleanser RM56.05 for 200ml it makes skin matte, supple and bright. Suitable for oily or acne prone skin.

3. Yadah Anti Trouble Bubble Cleanser

This is the best bubble cleanser ever! Love it, it makes my skin feel super clean and also supple at the same time. Further more it is parabean free and based on natural ingredients. RM69 for 150ml must try this product if you haven't. 

4. Yadah Collagen Ampoule 

This is another quality product from Yadah which based on natural ingredients, moisture skin and provide collagen to skin, prevention is definitely better than cure. RM65 for 30ml, I am already into my second bottle now. 

5. Naruko Tea Tree Purifying Clay Mask & Cleanser in 1

This is the best cleanser & mask product ever! Only RM29 for 120ml I have no complain. So love this product definitely will re-purchase after finishing this tube. Also based on natural ingredients and parabean free.  

There you have it, I can't believe only 5 star products for 2013 list. Look forward for 2014. More reviews coming soon. Anyeong~

Neogence C+ Brightening Renewal Gel Mask Review

I received this mask from Neogence a few months back and have been using this mask lately. Of all type of mask, my favorite would be gel type of mask, I found gel mask achieve better result in moisturizing skin, refreshing and leave skin supple. As simple intro of this product below:

The main function of this mask is whitening. Description about this mask: 

The mask is concentrated treatment composite 3 in 1 brightening formula. This formulated mask soaks into skin to awaken its radiance, it repair and whiten skin. The Hyaluronic acid + chamomile extract moisturize and energize skin. It can intensively irrigate and improve brightness skin. The ingredients mainly  composite of Dermawhite complex which can whiten skin, Complex Vitamin C that deters the formation of melanin, Hyaluronic acid + chamomile which moisturizes, soothe and energizes skin. 

With safety seal

This product is from their whitening range C+, from this range they also have the whitening lotion, eye gel and sheet mask etc.

How to use this mask?

After cleansing face, apply as thick layer on face, then rinse off after 15-20 minutes.

This mask can be used as overnight mask as well, just apply a thick layer evenly on face after skin care routine before bed, then rinse in the morning. 

I prefer to use after cleansing as it gets a bit messy to use as overnight mask. 

My experience:

My skin looks brighter after using this mask but the brightness does not last long - the obvious brightness only last for a few hours; I believe need to continuously and diligently use for long term result. I believe whitening take time to stay, thus as long as you are diligent in keeping the skin care routine you will see the result. Skin feels moist and supple. The scent is light which is good, I really hate strong scented skin care products. I rate this mask 4/5.

What I like about this mask:

• Brighten dull skin
• Deeply moisturizing and sooth skin, leaving it supple and soft

What I don't like about this mask:

• Kinda expensive

Avene Hydrance Optimale Light Hydrating Creme Review

I purchased Avene Hydrance Optimale Light Hydrating Creme during promotion two months ago in SASA. Original price RM89.00, SASA was having 10-15% discount at that time. Avene is a well known formulated specially for sensitive skin. The two things that attractive about this product are its hydrating skin and having SPF at the same time.

The cream is light and in white

This is a day cream with SPF 20 and oil free, great for oily skin. I don't see parabean in the ingredients so it is a plus point. The scent is the same as other avene products. 

What I like about this product:

• SPF 20
• Oil free
• Hydrating skin
• Matte finish
• Made for sensitive skin

What I don't like about this product:

• Quite pricey - only 40ml
• In white thus did not provide coverage for minor flaws unlike BB cream

Overall this is a good day cream especially when you just hanging out indoor and don't need high SPF coverage which usually oilier.
